Her birth name is Christina Haack in Anaheim, California on the 9th of July, 1983. Her first position was with the Real Estate Industry. It was through this that she met her future partner, Tarek El Moussa. They enjoyed a lot of success until 2008's stock market crash, which resulted in a number of real estate investors and homeowners go under. Tarek El Moussa was nearly wiped out by the 2008 crash. They moved from a costly home, where they paid $6,000 for a month, to a modest apartment which cost only $700. Their business as well as the economy as a whole slowly recovered. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek requested a colleague to help him make an HGTV audition tape which showed his and Christina flipping a house from start to finish. Pie Town Productions executive received the tape. They loved Tarek along with Christina. They signed an official HGTV contract in the year the year 2012. "Flip of Flop" began its premiere in April 2013. Between 2013 until 2017, the show aired 92 episodes over 7 seasons. On the show, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually mid-income homes situated in Orange County, and would follow up with several weeks completing upgrades in order that they could sell the house for a profit. Tarek does the deconstruction and remodeling while Christina focuses on design as well as making sure all goes according to plan.
