Robyn Rihanna, better called Rihanna in Barbados is a Barbadian artist and performer who has released hit songs like Pon de Replay Umbrella SOS and Take a Bow. As a young, accomplished singer and songwriter, she's already one of history's best selling artists. Born in Barbados, she was able to appreciate reggae music and began singing when she was a young child. As a result of the turmoil in her household as well as the disputes her parents had with each other, she began to pursue music. She soon decided that she was going to become an artist. While in high school, the girl formed a band and auditioned to be a part of Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was blown away by her talent. Rihanna made the move to New York so that she could pursue her full-time singing career. Rihanna quickly became a star following her first release. The songs that were aplenty of foot tapping quickly became the top choice of the youngsters motivating her to get into film as well. Young and talented, Rihanna has been viewed as a teenage idol and fashion icon. Rihanna makes good use of her celebrity and has been able to support many charity causes.
